Big News At Fine Art Resin - Press Release
Velina Robinson Glass, Owner
Tampa, Florida Press Release Update August 28, 2019
Little did I know that when I started down this path in January to focus on selling my own jewelry and not that of others that my skills as a teacher and writer would be in high demand and that I would branch out to work with Resin and Acrylic Pour Painting! Given this turn of events, I have closed all of my online stores except for my Etsy Store. If you live in the Tampa area please check out my classes at the Tampa Museum of Art. I am also looking forward to my article on Powder Coat Painting and the unique way in which groundbreaking enamelist Shana Kroiz has incorporated it into her jewelry line. It will appear in the next issue of Metalsmith Magazine. I will continue to play with resin however I expect that my work will move away from production and into a focus on one of a kind jewelry. All this is, of course, is to find a healthy balance between my work and home life. Thank you for stopping by my store and getting to know my a little better!

Tampa, Florida— January 5, 2019 — Today, we announced that Artful Jeweler is closing its online store effective January 31, 2019, and changing to Fine Art Resin. Founded in 2008 the company has been a source of great joy over the past decade. My decision came about because of the rapid growth experienced in the past 18 months caused the company to evolve into an entity that was not consistent with my long-term goals. Other factors that contributed to this decision are the resignation of my sons from the business to pursue their own ventures, a desire to focus on my own personal jewelry line and most importantly spending more time with my grandchildren.
